All of our Modern Exterior Cladding is made from 100% authentic, thermally treated wood, clear grade hardwoods that are sourced, milled and sealed in our North American production facility.
This is dependent on your vision and preferences for design. The siding can be installed with no regular maintenance required which will allow the wood to develop into a beautiful silver color over time. If you wish to maintain or restore the original color of the Modern Exterior Wood Cladding, you can apply a fresh coat of oil based sealant (Thompson’s WaterSeal Clear or ReadySeal Walnut) at any time.
All of our cladding options are treated to withstand weather of all types - hot sun, dry climates, humidity, snow and rainy seasons. Our Modern Exterior Cladding is naturally water repellent due to the thermal treatment process, and then we take the added step of applying a UV resistant treatment and oil based sealant on all 4 sides.
We ship anywhere in the country in 3-4 days via UPS or an LTL carrier (we send tracking information once it ships). (Lead times may vary depending on season)
We accept returns/exchanges within 30 days from your delivery date. Please refer to our Refund Policy here.
Installation is super simple! We recommend using stainless steel exterior grade nails directly through the tongue of the boards into the existing substrate or furring strips. Full instructions are included with every order.
Each box contains 15 square feet of coverage. You can use the square footage calculator at the top of the page or you can contact our team for assistance through live chat, email or by phone at (844) 755-9663
Yes certainly, you will first need to fasten furring strips to the substrate then install the cladding directly into the furring strips using exterior grade stainless steel nails.
